Opps , due to computer error I deleted contents of our car and projects

This page will be rebiult ....one day , but till then a few samples

sorry some of the pictures dont seem to be working at the moment, seems vista doesnt like my format

Our G reg Gti.......   Lots of work went into this, ongoing project

 And the Vr6 Vento....

And when it was just about finished  , like the golf.

A STUPID driver , who couldnt stop behind DID THIS

The floor pan was so badly damaged , and new parts notavailable,
So the insurers (of the other car) decided , correctly , that it was not repairable
and paid out the agreed value (£ several ????.00)

So now we move on , with other cars...

                             SHELLEY'S RACE CAR

another project, rush job for British Autosport show at NEC
Had to be done over Christmas...... The Shell  was bought as Salvage as it had paint stripper all over every pannel, which, appart from the work, didnt matter as it was going to end up these colours anyway

More pictures available of whole painting process by clicking on the picture above

The actual painting, after all prep, flatting and masking etc , to apply the three colours , then the clearcoat laquer took aproximatly 6 hours.
When I get time I will add pictures of each stage of the painting ,
and more of the car at the N E C in Birmingham with the windows, roll cage etc all in place

WATCH this car on Sky Sports Rallycross programme in the spring/summer
Shelley was LAST YEARS British Minicross CHAMPION ,
She has gone up quite a step to the 2000cc class for this coming season
Brett, (the owner of the Vento Vr6) is race mechanic

Yet another  "project " is the

manufacture of a stainless steel manifolds

pictures here show the process where our 'friendly' (some say) engineer who also has a workshop in the same yard as ours, is working out the fabrication of a show manifold for an old
Bedford CF  van .  We hope, wit his assistance and tig welding skills to do one for a Vr6 soon
as they say........  Watch this space

Manifold 'tack welded together' , bolted to jig  ,
ready to offer up to car and tweek  to ensure it all lines up ,
then it will be fully welded and pollished

.   When we get round to it, you will be able to click on picture , to open a gallery of pictures
showing the process from scratch to completion

                   (  not yet finished , )

so I loaded all the pictures to the computer, deleted them from the camera,
didnt back computer up, never had need........

COMPUTER CRASHED, TERMINALLY , lost the lot

and another project, using skills aquired whilst managing a bodyshop which did  accident repairs and restorations and modifications

Mk 1/2 golf wheel arch flairing, rolling and pulling

Rolling the arch lip and pulling out and up to give more clearance for larger/wider wheels
and for lowered suspension

pictures show  a front wing with arch completed and painted
(we obviously have facilities and capability to do anything from minor scratch to, welding ,
accident damage to  full body restoration  and repainting to high standards ....)

The pictures cant show the high standard of refinishing, that you would need to come to see
