This  is the photographic story of a camper van which looked
"reasonably ok"   underneath to the untrained eye
.

However, once the apparenly small areas of corrosion that had failed the MOT were cleaned back, the true  extent of the problem was visible...
All of the holes had hidden neighbours !!!

 The pictures tell the story...........

to date, using some manufactured repair sections, and some we have fabricated ourselves.

The off side inner and outer sill/side panels have been welded into place,

The rear cross member has been repaired, and a new lip for the engine tray made and welded into place.
The front cross member has been partially repaired
     (oops forgot picts at mo)

The plates for the inner wheel arches (both sides are made )

the sill under the sliding door has also been done

When complete , all the underside repairs were be treated with corrosion inhibitor (it slows it down but NOTHING kills Rust!!!"!)
then sprayed with Stone Chip...  Not the dreaded underseal
the paintwork was  made good and resprayed in two pack paint
as necessary to the customers requirement to 'look tidy' untill full restoration at some later date.
